weather .......

The hot weather is until almost two weeks. It's really hot. In CGU Engineering building, most classrooms do not have air condition. Near 50 classmates in a small classroom with only 6 electric fans. Most students can not concentrate on class. We feel restless because the hot weather.
After class back to dormitory, dormitories are not have air condition, too. In my dormitory, we totally have 12 electric fans. In my point, 12 electric fans maybe can not conserve more energy than an air condition. Because I am allergic. It is too hot to sleep comfortable for me. Thus, I sleep at three or four AM and sleep few hours a day. I hope dormitories are able to fit air condition although it is almost impassable……

At World's End

Pirate Of The Caribbean-At World's End is the movie I expect most. I still remember few year ago I watched the first part The Curse of the Black Pearl with my elementary school friends. I arrested the story deeply. Thus, the second part Dead Man's Chest, I went to watched the first play.
5.23 6:30 AM. I did not went to class. I and classmates went to watched the first play again. Riding the motorcycle to Xin Yi Vieshow Cinemas(信義威秀影城). Pirate Of The Caribbean-At World's End is a great movie. If you did not watch.
You should go to watch as quickly as you can.

This picture was took by my mother ,which is in Taipei Feitsui Reservoir Administration(翡翠水庫) in 2006.12.23. In this photo , there were my father , younger sister and me standing together . 2006.12.23 was the last day my father worked at that beautiful place. My father was Commissioner, he had worked at there for three years. Before he became Commissioner, he was a academic in Tamkang University(淡江大學).Now father back to Tamkang University, he always says ” the three years I had stayed at Feitsui Reservoir Administration is the special experience and good memory that I will not forget in my life. ” My younger sister is a student in Zhongshan Girls High School(中山女中). The right in milldam has a ruler, it can show the water height. The view in Feitsui Reservoir Administration is beautiful. Crossing the river by ship, we can enjoy in fresh air, birdsongs and breezes. It can let me relax and fell comfortable. Taipei Feitsui Reservoir Administration have nature views, but it is a regulative place. If you want to visit, you have to apply. And you will find the different face in Taipei.

accident...

According to count, accident is the first dying cause for students. Many students died by car accidents in Taiwan every year. In near 3 weeks, I heard three car accidents news from my classmate and friends. These news let me feel little afraid because I also ride the motorcycle, too. And I ride the motorcycle almost everyday.
Now l leave home and live outside by myself. I think I have to let my parents , dear young sister and many friends who care me trustingly. Because this reason, I more carefully when I ride.

Firefly Concent(螢光夜曲)

Firefly Concert(螢光夜曲) is the most important active in YenPing(延平中學).Our musical group appear one time in an year. After graduating, teacher ask me back to group. I’m very exciting and nervous. Because I had not played trumpet for tow years. Tonight we play faultlessly. After playing, I take many pictures with teacher and classmates.

Today is sunny and fine. After calculus class, we go to North Coast(北海岸) Paishawan(白沙灣).Beach is beautiful. We play many strange games…


But it is very funny and we all enjoy playing. By the way, sunset and star are also pretty. In my point, next time go to North Coast is soon.

Treasures of the World's Cultures: The British Museum after 250 Years

Today is a wonderful day. I go to National Place Museum to watch a special exhibition about 「The British Museum After 250 Years」.First time I wanted to go is in February. But the visitor was too much that I gave up the idea.
There are many treasures in the exhibition.
The British Museum after 250 Years is intended to offer the audiences in Taiwan a rare opportunity to appreciate cultural treasures from around the world without embarking on journeys abroad.
I interest in Ancient Egyptian Culture. I often watch programs about Ancient Egyptian Culture at home. Maybe in some people’s view, mummy is a disgusting and unlucky thing. Like the unlucky mummy, people believe he has curse because the coffin has no name. A rumor says: the unlucky mummy is in Tatinic, and that is the why Tatinic sunk. In this exhibition, I know the unlucky mummy was not in Tatinic. Is he unlucky? I don’t know.
In other sections, Roman Empire have many handsome effigy. African Cultures have many cut statue.
The exhibition is until to May. I want to visit again.

Introduetion-The Unlucky Mummy

This exquisitely painted mummy-board formed the innermost covering of the mummy of a woman of high rank. During the 21st and early 22nd Dynasties such sculpted and painted covers had come to replace the masks which were placed over the heads of mummies in earlier periods. The name of the owner of this example is not preserved, but the style of the decoration is a sure guide to its date and provenance (Thebes). The deceased wears a very large floral collar, through which her open hands protrude, and below this is a complex arrangement of images of deities associated with the afterlife: solar discs and falcons, the winged sky-goddess Nut, ba birds and emblems of Osiris.
Since its acquisition in 1889, the mummy-board has become one of the most famous icons of the British Museum, though not on account of its historical importance or artistic quality. It has become the focus for a vast web of modern mythology which has its origins in the popular notion that to disturb an ancient Egyptian burial could bring down a 'curse' on those directly responsible (and even on persons only remotely involved). Although the body of the original owner has never been identified (and is not in the British Museum) the board has acquired the misleading title of 'the Unlucky Mummy'. The stories surrounding it have been perpetuated and elaborated through oral tradition, popular journalism and, more recently, via the internet. The four English travellers who brought the mummy-board from Egypt in the 19th century are said to have suffered premature death or injury, and similar misfortunes reputedly befell many others. On an early photograph of the board, the carved and painted face is supposed to have been miraculously replaced by the features of 'a living Egyptian woman of malevolent aspect.' Perhaps the strangest tale associated with the board is that it was sold to an American collector and sent to the USA on the Titanic in 1912, causing the ship to collide with an iceberg and sink. Although proof of the mummy-board's alleged supernatural powers is completely lacking, the mythology surrounding it continues to evolve. Chung Gan Unversity's birthday

Today is Chung Gan Unversity's birthday, but I couldn't celebrate it because I have to play the soccer game between departments . We got a great progress and played very well!! Since we all wounded, we only got 4th.Everytime, after we go through a games, we always feel that we are more and more cosolidated. The Department of Eletric Engineering Soccer Team is just like a big family, both players and 球經s.though we are often fleeced by them, hahaha.

清明節

Today I wake up early because I will go to Shan Zhi(山芝) 北海福座. Crandfather was deid for five years, but I still miss him. When I was a child, grandfather often played with me and went to watch the temple celebration(廟會) togother. Thus, grandfather called me every weekend to watch the temple celebration. Five years passed, When in the Chinese new year or 清明節, I always cry.Today, I cry again....

YangMingShan。Hot Spring

Last night is calculus mid-test. uh....I think I will get a terrible score.After the test, four classmates and I go to ShiLin night market eat some snack. Then go to YangMingShan by motorcycle. YangMingShan is very quite and beautiful in the night. We go to 大屯山 first, there have wonderful night view and shining star in the sky. But it's dangerous beacuse there doesn't have any streetlampes. Then we go to take the hot spring. I think we are very lucky because there are no bady in the bathhouse except us. We have fun and take many interesting photoes. We get back to school in AM05:20. third......

Mid-test

Time is through fast. Mid-test is comeing soon. In this half session, I spent a lot of time in practice soccer, play the games in the school or outside. Therefore, I asked for leave many times and did't do well on school works. In Electronic Engineering, we have nine subject. The test I have is more then is high school. And the mid-test is until three weeks. It's a long time. I think I have to work hard more. Otherwise, I will have the low grade.

Book 那些年 我們一起追的女孩

那些年 我們一起追的女孩 is a love story. It is talk aboout a popular girl and a crowd boys.A crowd boys are full in love with this girl in the same time. A crafty boy like the girl but have enough courage to tell. Arter eight years, the boy is still love the girl. But they don't become boy and girl friend in the long run. It's a true love!? I think so. Love is always beautiful and romantic. Still now, I never have a girl friend. If I have chance, I think I would rather become a fool in order to get my true love XD. But in truly life, true love exist? I don't know. But I still want I can find a truly one. Keeping going~~~~ XD

nervous

Nervous. I am nervous now. Ten minutes later I will go to Taichung to take part in a match which is called 大專盃足球聯賽 with school soccer team. Last session we passed the first round of the competition. Now we are join the second round. Tomorrow, the first team we have to face is R.O.C Military Academy(陸軍官校). What!! "R.O.C Military Academy". It's very horrible. Although R.O.C Military Academy is a college, but their students are just as an army. All of them have stronger physique and bettter muscle than us. It's hard to win for us. And we hear of they have foreign students!? Woo... My god... But I will still do my best and hope don't hurt in the game.

about USA transfer system

Few days age, I chatted with my old friends who study abroad by MSN Messenger. They talked me they will transfer to a new college next session. David will transfer to a city college and Hou will transfer to Purdue University. Beacase USA has a perfect transfer system. Many students will study hard in order to transfer to the ideal college. In Taiwan, althouge we also has transfer system, but it's not perfect. Almost college students in Taiwan don't study hard like abroad students. They always spend much time playing video games.I think Taiwan students have to change these bad habits. Otherwise we will don't have enough abilities to face the contention in the future.

soccer team

I like ELE department soccer team. In my poinion, department soccer team is just like a big family. We are very lucky, we have a great captain who is a grade four prexy. He is a responsible leader. He always teaches us patiently even we don't do well. Last session we taked part in a match which is called 北電盃(北區有關"電"系的運動比賽), we won the champion. It stands for CGU ELE department soccer team is the best team in north Taiwan college. After half yaer, many grade four prexies who I like will graduate and leave the team. But we don't have enough ability to maintain this team. Thus, now we what we have to do is practice and let us become stronger.

Engnlish class - freewriting

freewriting is an interesting thing. We have to continue other guys thing and let the writing keep going. this is my first to write this:

If you have a good old friend who go oversea and don’t make contact with for a long time. What surprise I will get that someday I meet the old friend.
Someday the old friend came to my home. It was very surprise to me. I took him
to night market. We ate many delicious foods and bought a lot of dunnage.
We really had a lot of fun at that night. I am really happy. I hope I can with my friend do this things and keep on touch forever.

about new session

Time is throught fast. Six months ago, I was a new college student. But now, this is the second session. In new session, many works I have to do. I will become the soccer association leader. Therefor, many new works I have to learn and prepare.
I'm not good at English, but English ability is important for us in the future. Passing the GEPT is necessary, too. If I don't pass the test, I won't graduate from school. Thus, in my free time I will spend more time studying English and practicing writting.I hope my English ability can progress. And if have opportunity, I will go to study oversea after graduate.
